the brief

Convey how a nutrition brand's supplements prevent eye damage from extended screen time.

SETU India wanted a visually engaging social media post aimed at young Indian users — an audience that lives on screens and scrolls fast. The answer: a playful 3D character story that turns a health message into something worth pausing for.

the process

From character sketches to a fully animated scene.

  1. character & props design. Initial 2D explorations of the character, hands, and supplement props.
  2. 3d modeling. Translating the chosen sketches into clean, stylized geometry.
  3. color & texture. A warm palette — blues, reds, oranges — pulled from the initial exploration.
  4. camera angles & composition. Framing each storyboard scene for a phone-first feed.
  5. lighting. Soft, friendly lighting to keep the health story approachable.
  6. rigging. Rigging the character and hands for expressive movement.
  7. animation. Bringing the storyboard to life, scene by scene.

insights

Educating through a visually friendly narrative.

This project was a fulfilling experience as it involved educating the audience on an important topic of health, through a visually friendly and engaging narrative. Creating for a young audience meant being mindful of their varying attention span and content behaviour. The project as a whole combines creativity with technology for effective storytelling for diverse audiences.
